A day in the life: capturing your story in your home
Updated: a day ago
This is the second time I've photographed this little cutie, third if you count the bump photos, and each time it gets better!

Rae has the perfect name, her personality is comparable to sunny-day-on-the-lake kind of vibes. She cried just long enough for me to capture a single frame at each of her sessions, that's it!

When I arrived for her 6 month story session I had to take a second to admire the state of change before me. The hub of their home was 90% finished with a stunning renovation, and so much had changed since when I was there for her newborn photos. I knew I wanted to showcase their hard work but also how beautiful this moment was, with all it's imperfections. Complete or not, it was bright, full of potential and character.
I mean can you imagine drinking your morning coffee at that kitchen island? I'd park myself there with my laptop and be quite content... but I digress.
I made sure to focus on their beautiful connection, while hinting to space and place the entire time. I hope you enjoy!
Two country folk madly in love living in Muskoka with their dogs, and some extra room in their hearts for one more teeny tiny best friend.
This is their beautiful story, just how they'll always remember it.
